Chained in Backrooms Badges & Milestones
Welcome freebies, level-entry badges, and how to read Roblox’s incomplete list without spoiling your co-op run.
Roblox badges on Chained in Backrooms are mostly progress stamps: welcome freebies when you join the experience, then level-entry awards as you push deeper into the mission chain. They do not replace skill, and they rarely gate the next room—but they are useful morale markers for friend groups and a clean way to see how far the average visitor gets. This page documents the commonly visible badges (including several level milestones), notes that the list is incomplete compared to everything the place may award, and explains how to hunt without wrecking co-op etiquette.
Chained in Backrooms by Musta and Alexander released 21 April 2025 as a free co-op mission obby horror for 1–8 chained players (place 103731330407395, 110M+ visits). Badge names below keep official spelling—including quirky titles as shown on Roblox.
Important: this is not a 100% datamine
The Roblox experience page and badge UI show a rotating / truncated set. Creators add more over time. Treat this guide as a verified starter catalog, not a completionist bible. When a new badge appears after a patch, cross-check Updates and the official place page. Never trust a shady “all badges” executor—read Scripts safety notes and play legit.
Freebie / welcome badges
These award extremely commonly (often listed at 100% freebie rarity on Roblox):
Tragectory Welcomers!
- Flavor: Welcome to the Chained Backrooms!
- How players get it: Joining / being welcomed into the experience. Spelling is officially Tragectory on the badge title.
- Tips: It pops early; do not restart thinking you missed a secret. Screenshot it for the group chat if you collect.
You joined the backrooms
- Flavor: Your journey may start…
- How: Enter the level / journey for the first time.
- Tips: Ties to beginning the mission chain—pair with Getting Started so you also claim the group like/favorite free reward while you are badge hunting.
Level-entry milestone badges
These typically fire the first time you enter the named level. They track exploration more than perfect clears.
| Badge | Level | Official-style note |
|---|---|---|
| Landspace’s Dust (Level 2) | 2 | Childhood / fields flavor; enter Level 2 for the first time |
| Machover (Level 9) | 9 | Train-memory flavor (“I still do remember onto those trains..”); enter Level 9 |
| Familiarity Core (Level 12) | 12 | “Is this where you live?”; enter Level 12 |
| Over-Industrical (Level 13) | 13 | Escape / scientists located you; enter Level 13 |
Spellings Landspace’s, Machover, and Over-Industrical match Roblox badge titles—keep them when you search or chat so teammates find the same items.
Landspace’s Dust often lines up with early Chapter 2 / Level 2 entry for parties coming out of Chapter 1—see Chapter 2 and Endings.
How to earn level badges without soft-locking your party
- Progress normally through the Walkthrough—do not open every door alone while friends hang on the rope.
- Call when a new level banner appears so collectors can confirm the toast.
- If someone missed a level-entry badge because they were dead/spectating, re-clear or re-enter later; do not demand the whole night become a badge tour without consent.
- Keep chain discipline on Glass Bridge and bosses even when “we only need the badge.” Dead friends do not enjoy your inventory screenshot.
Freebies on first enter vs skill badges
Most badges listed above behave like first-enter freebies for that space. That means:
- Showing up is enough for that toast.
- You should still learn Pull, arcade etiquette, and Destiny votes—badges will not teach Glass Bridge for you.
- Completionist flex is optional; clearing Chapter endings on Endings is the real co-op trophy.
If Roblox later adds skill-conditioned badges (speed, no-death, secret rooms), we will expand this page after verifying live. Until then, assume exploration stamps.

Etiquette and anti-scam notes
- Nobody needs Robux to earn the freebie badges above.
- Anyone selling “badge unlock services” is a scam vector.
- Injectors that claim instant badge grants risk your account—see Scripts.
- After September 2026 maintenance waves, reconfirm badge text on the live place (September 2026 Update).
Why badge pages matter for wiki SEO (and for you)
Players search badge names when a toast flashes mid-run. Having accurate titles—quirky spellings included—helps your party identify milestones without alt-tabbing into fake lists from other Backrooms games. Stay on this place ID and this studio name.
Collect what you want, then get back on the chain. The fun is still the co-op clear, not the inventory pane.
